Hynds are currently looking for a Graduate Automation & Control Engineer to join our project team in Pokeno. This role will suit a graduate with some work experience with the willingness to be flexible in the tasks they perform. Ongoing training and learning opportunities will be provided.

To be successful you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering, in Civil or Mechanical is preferred
  • Full class 1 NZ driver licence
  • Strong academic on the development side
  • Have an interest in industrial automation
  • Be hands on so will need to have the ability to be a quick learner
  • Have a strong commitment to safety, health & environmental responsibilities
  • Able to work both as part of a team and be self-motivated to work independently
  • Likes to share ideas and implement them together
  • Communicates well in groups and written reports
